As the rambutan season peaks, the fruit remains a popular delicacy, especially among children.

Known for its sweet and juicy flesh, Cavite province is home to some of the country’s finest rambutan, with abundant harvests in the towns of General Emilio Aguinaldo (Bailen), Indang, Alfonso, and Magallanes.

Most of the rambutan sold in markets today originate from Cavite. Not only is the fruit delightful, but it also offers numerous health benefits:
