GENERAL MARIANO ALVAREZ, Cavite — The owner of a jewelry shop robbed by seven armed men is offering a ₱500,000 reward for information leading to the suspects’ arrest, police said.
The owner of PNGB Precious Asher Jewelry Shop, known by the alias Rey, announced the reward following the July 7 robbery in Barangay San Gabriel, in which the suspects made off with more than ₱25 million worth of jewelry and cash.
CCTV footage from the shop showed the armed men holding staff at gunpoint while ransacking the store before fleeing on two motorcycles.
Police are conducting a widespread hot pursuit operation to arrest the suspects. Authorities released CCTV images showing one of the suspects clearly captured by the shop’s security cameras.
