Police are investigating the discovery of a decomposing human head in a creek in Carmona City, Cavite on Friday evening.
The head was found by a fisherman on Congressional Road, Barangay Cabilang Baybay around 6:30 p.m. He alerted his brother, John Emmanuel Rosales, who reported the incident to the authorities.
The head was taken to Cardona Funeral Homes for an autopsy, with the assistance of the Regional Field Unit 4A. Police suspect that the head belongs to a headless body that was found on Avilan Road, Barangay Lantic in February 2024.
The body had a tattoo on its chest, which led police to believe that it was a Chinese national.
However, the identity and cause of death of the victim have not been confirmed yet.
Police are looking into possible motives and suspects behind the gruesome crime.
