Two nabbed in Dasmariñas drug bust, over P350,000 in shabu seized

DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite — Police arrested a man tagged as a high-value individual (HVI) and known by the alias “Palos,” along with a companion, during a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Nicolas I, Dasmariñas City, authorities said.

Police identified the suspects as “Palos,” an adult male involved in landscaping work, and his alleged companion, alias “Oishi,” 35, both listed as high-value individuals and residents of the area.

Police said the Dasmariñas City Police Station, together with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), conducted the operation around 9:05 p.m. following several days of surveillance on the suspects.

Authorities recovered four heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, or methamphetamine hydrochloride, weighing more than 52 grams and valued at P353,600, police said. The buy-bust money used in the operation was also recovered.
