A pet cremation company has offered to cremate free of charge the pets of owners affected by the discovery of 29 animal carcasses in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
Aeternal Paws – Pet Cremation Services issued a statement expressing sadness over the discovery of 26 dogs and three cats and extending condolences to pet owners who may have lost their animals.
The company said every pet deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, even in death.
It said it strictly follows procedures for identifying, documenting and labeling each animal entrusted to its care to ensure that every pet is properly recorded.
The company said pet owners place great trust in it, especially while grieving the loss of their animals.
Aeternal Paws also condemned any form of neglect and abuse of animals and said it supports efforts to hold those found responsible for the incident accountable.
As a gesture of concern for affected families, the company said it will cover the final farewell for pets of owners who are verified as victims.
It asked the public to help it reach the affected families so it can relay its offer.
The company acknowledged that it cannot take away the pain caused by the incident but said it hopes its help can give the animals the love, care and respect they deserve until the end.
