BACOOR CITY, Cavite — Agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Cavite Provincial Office arrested three suspected drug pushers and users after raiding a drug den in Barangay Molino II here Friday, July 25, 2026, authorities said.
Police identified the suspects as “Dante,” 55; “Cedric,” 19; and “Michael,” 41, all residents of the area and known drug personalities in the city.
According to police, PDEA Cavite, together with the Cavite Maritime Police, raided the house used as a drug den in Barangay Molino II around 7:20 p.m.
Authorities recovered approximately 10 grams of suspected shabu, or methamphetamine hydrochloride, valued at P68,000, including the sachet used in the buy-bust operation.
Police also recovered marked money and various drug paraphernalia, including lighters, used aluminum foil, a bamboo stick, a glass pipe, a temporary ID, and a cellular phone.
Authorities said the drug den, allegedly used for the sale of illegal drugs in the area, was dismantled following the arrest of the suspects.
The three suspects face charges for violation of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 15, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
