The Governance Commission for Government-Owned or -Controlled Corporations has begun validating the proposed restructuring plan of the PEA Tollway Corp., which operates the Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway, as part of efforts to strengthen the organization and ensure regulatory compliance.
The validation is meant to assess the company’s proposed organizational structure and ensure it conforms with existing policies, governance standards and operational needs.
PEA Tollway Corp. is led by Chairman Anthony Peter Crisologo and President and CEO Delfin Torrecampo Jr., together with its board of directors. GCG Commissioner Brian Keith Hosaka is overseeing the review.
As part of the process, GCG personnel visited the CAVITEX toll plaza to observe the tollway’s operations, functions and activities firsthand.
The visit provided a clearer basis for evaluating the proposed plan and ensuring the resulting structure fits operational requirements and meets GCG standards, the company said.
PEA Tollway Corp. said it remains committed to improving organizational efficiency, maintaining compliance and promoting good governance to provide efficient and reliable service to motorists.
The company’s slogan is “On the Right Path. For Every Journey. For Every Filipino.”
