DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite — Thousands of residents turned out for a proclamation rally for Mayor Jenny Barzaga, marking the formal launch of her campaign for the upcoming special election in Cavite’s 4th District.
Supporters from various barangays across the city began gathering early to attend the event. Local officials, community leaders and other figures also joined the program to voice their support for Barzaga’s candidacy.
In her remarks, Barzaga thanked residents for their warm reception and continued trust, and stressed the importance of community unity in sustaining projects aimed at improving public services and advancing the city’s development.
The large turnout underscored strong support for Barzaga as she opened her campaign. The rally is part of the official campaign period for the 4th District special election set by the Commission on Elections, in which voters are expected to choose a new district representative.
