TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite — The city government here will host a special recruitment activity for job openings in Japan on Wednesday, April 8, offering positions in manufacturing, construction, agriculture, and food processing, among others, with no placement fees required.
The event, organized through the city’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in partnership with Phil Assist Life Manpower Corporation (PAMC), will be held at the 2nd level of Walter Mart Trece starting at 9 a.m.
Available positions include machine inspection, metal press, iron works, plastic molding, food processing, construction, reinforcing bar, frame work, scaffolding, welding, sewing, farming, and die casting.
Applicants must be between 20 and 29 years old for males, with a minimum height of 155 centimeters, or between 20 and 26 years old for females, with a minimum height of 152 centimeters. Both must be at least high school graduates, have good eyesight, and have no body tattoos or prior surgical operations. Applicants who have previously worked abroad must have resided in the Philippines for at least two years before applying.
Required documents include a resume, PSA birth certificate, diploma, passport, TESDA or training certificate, certificate of employment, NBI clearance, and EREG and PESO registration. The PSA birth certificate must not be late-registered by more than six years.
PAMC, which is licensed by the Department of Migrant Workers under accreditation number DMW-226-LB-12072023-R, said there are no placement fees, salary deductions, or fees of any kind to be collected from applicants. The agency also warned the public against illegal recruiters and human traffickers, and offered free Japanese language training to qualified recruits.
Mayor Gemma Buendia Lubigan, Vice Mayor Bobby Montehermoso, and the 12th Sangguniang Panlungsod identified the overseas employment program as a priority initiative of the city government.
