Cavite State University extension campus to open in Magallanes this August

MAGALLANES, Cavite — Cavite State University’s extension campus in this town is set to formally open this August, bringing access to college education closer to local youth.

Classes will temporarily be held at AMES Last Resort while construction of a permanent campus building is prepared.

Mayor Janessa Maligaya de Ramayo said the opening of the extension campus reflects a shared vision and years of collaboration between the local government and its partner agencies. She thanked the Cavite provincial government, led by Gov. Jonvic “Abeng” Remulla and Vice Gov. Rambo “Ram” Revilla Bautista Jr., as well as the Commission on Higher Education, CvSU, local government officials and others involved in the project.

De Ramayo said the campus represents a victory not just for the local government but for every resident of Magallanes who believes in the power of education, adding that quality education is now more accessible to the town’s youth and that more of their aspirations stand a chance of being fulfilled.
