TANZA, Cavite — Kaibigan Bakery, one of Cavite’s most iconic bakeries, has temporarily suspended its operations and deliveries until further notice, management said in an advisory.
The management said the decision was made to protect consumers and warned the public against buying unauthorized products being sold under the bakery’s name.
Founded in 1920, Kaibigan Bakery has been a symbol of traditional Filipino baking for more than a century. It is best known for its Sopas Tanza, as well as other longtime favorites such as monay, jacobina and gurguria, making it a must-visit destination for generations of residents and travelers.
The closure marks a pause for one of Cavite’s oldest culinary landmarks. With its wood-fired ovens now silent, loyal customers are hoping for the bakery’s eventual reopening, when it will resume serving its signature breads and biscuits to the community.
