A veterinary student from Cavite State University has amassed nearly three million social media followers through content focused on environmental awareness, animal welfare, and mental health — without relying on viral gimmicks or sensationalism.
Louise Ann Nagal, known online as “Lans,” built her following of 2.9 million in just over a year, reaching Filipino audiences both locally and abroad. She is a student at Cavite State University’s main campus in Indang.
Nagal’s content stands out for its upbeat energy and positive messaging, traits her followers say are infectious. Beyond her personality, her advocacy-driven approach has drawn particular attention among young Filipinos, many of whom say she has inspired them to take interest in environmental and animal welfare causes.
Despite her growing reach, Nagal has said her earnings as a content creator remain modest — something she describes as secondary to the impact she is making.
“I’m happy with whatever I’ve achieved,” she said, according to local reports.
Her rise has been cited as proof that social media influence does not require provocative or sexualized content to gain traction — that positivity and authenticity can be just as compelling to audiences.
Nagal’s account continues to grow, with followers across the Philippines and the Filipino diaspora.
