DASMARINAS CITY, Cavite — Drug enforcement agents arrested a 20-year-old man following a buy-bust operation that yielded an estimated 500 grams of shabu worth about 3.4 million pesos, authorities said.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group’s Intelligence and Foreign Liaison Division jointly conducted the operation at around 3:15 p.m. in Barangay Salitran 3.
The suspect, identified only by the alias “Al,” was nabbed after an undercover operative successfully completed a drug transaction with him, PDEA said.
Aside from the shabu, authorities also seized drug paraphernalia, boodle money used in the operation, and a motorcycle belonging to the suspect.
The case will be filed before the appropriate court, the agency said.
