TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite — The provincial government distributed information and communications technology equipment donated by South Korea to six public schools, with officials saying the turnover reinforces a more than two-decade partnership in educational technology.
The equipment, donated by South Korea’s Ministry of Education and the Jeonbuk State Office of Education, was turned over at the New Provincial Government Center through the Provincial Information and Communications Technology Office, headed by Officer-in-Charge Annie Tacazon.
The six recipient schools are Amadeo Elementary School, Amaya Elementary School, Bagong Buhay Elementary School, Lumil Integrated High School, Rosario Elementary School, and San Gabriel III Elementary School. Teachers and support staff who completed training in Korea in 2025 also received laptops during the ceremony.
Governor Francisco Gabriel Remulla attended the turnover alongside 1st District Board Member Jygs Gandia, Provincial Administrator Gilbert Gandia, and Chief of Staff Ferdinand Belamide.
Officials said the Cavite-Korea collaboration, which began more than 20 years ago, aims to equip educators with updated tools and promote digital literacy in the province’s public schools.
