Alfamart in Cavite Burgled Through Roof Entry

ROSARIO, Cavite — A convenience store in Barangay Silangan I, Rosario, Cavite was burglarized before dawn Monday, with the suspect breaking in through the roof and escaping with cash, police said.

According to the Rosario police, the incident at an Alfamart branch was discovered around 7 a.m. by a store crew member identified only as “Unique,” 31, who found the cash register empty and broken bottles of chocolate drink scattered on the floor.

Investigators said the suspect gained entry by dismantling a portion of the roof. CCTV footage showed the break-in occurred at about 1:23 a.m. The suspect was wearing a black jacket, black shorts, and had a yellow T-shirt wrapped around his face.

Authorities are conducting follow-up operations to identify and arrest the suspect.
