Two Arrested in General Trias Drug Bust; P171K Worth of Shabu Seized

GENERAL TRIAS, Cavite — Police arrested two men in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Francisco, General Trias, Cavite, seizing more than P171,000 worth of suspected shabu, authorities said Wednesday.

Cavite Provincial Police Director Col. Ariel Red identified the suspects only as “Jhay” and “Elmer,” both listed as street-level drug personalities and residents of the area.

The city police’s Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the sting operation around 10:30 p.m. Monday, confiscating two sealed plastic sachets containing over 25 grams of suspected shabu valued at P171,360.

Also recovered were the marked money used in the transaction and a red Motorstar motorcycle allegedly used by the suspects.
