Cavite Capitol — Eleven primary cooperatives from Tabuk City recently concluded a two-day educational tour in Cavite aimed at improving their operational strategies and service delivery.

The learning trip, known as Lakbay Aral, was organized by the Tabuk City Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (CCEDO) under the leadership of Catherine Lee Uera. Held from July 23 to 24, 2025 the initiative allowed cooperative officers and management staff to visit successful cooperatives in Cavite and observe best practices in the field.

On the first day, participants visited the General Trias Dairy Raisers Multi-Purpose Cooperative in General Trias City and the Palangue Agrarian Reform Cooperative in Naic. Both cooperatives showcased their product lines, service offerings, and business strategies.

The day ended with a courtesy visit at the New Provincial Government Center in Trece Martires City, where Cavite Gov. Jonvic “Abeng” Remulla welcomed the delegation. Myrachel Cuadra, Supervising Administrative Officer, presented the services of the Office of the Provincial Cooperative Development Officer (OPCDO), while Rizalie Pinpin-Enero delivered the opening remarks.

These organizations shared insights into their operations and innovations in cooperative management, finance, and community engagement.

According to the CCEDO, the Lakbay Aral aimed to help participating cooperatives adapt successful models to their local context, with the goal of improving livelihoods and promoting sustainable economic development in Tabuk City.

The office expressed gratitude to the Provincial Government of Cavite and host cooperatives for their support and hospitality throughout the visit.
