In a shocking incident on Friday, March 15, a man was killed and his companion injured after being shot by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Imus City, Cavite.
The victims, identified as Rene Valencia and Ramil Talaroc, were reportedly waiting for transportation along Aguinaldo Highway, Brgy. Anabu 1-C around 7:20 pm when they were suddenly attacked.
The assailants quickly fled the scene, leaving Mr. Talaroc fatally wounded on the road. Mr. Valencia was rushed to the hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.
Authorities from Police Region 4A are currently investigating the possible motives behind the crime. The community is in shock, and there is an urgent call for witnesses to come forward to aid in the investigation.
This incident has raised concerns about public safety and the prevalence of crime in the area. The police are urging anyone with information to contact them immediately.
