Carnival Caretaker Shot Dead in Imus

A man was killed on the spot after being shot inside a carnival in Imus, Cavite, around 12:30AM over the weekend.

The victim was identified as Peter Jerico Dela Cruz, a caretaker of the carnival.

According to the Imus PNP, the man was supervising the carnival when he was approached by a gunman and shot multiple times.

Three other victims were also wounded in the shooting and rushed to the hospital. The suspect escaped on a motorcycle.

Two bullets and ten shells were recovered from the crime scene.

The gunman is still being hunted by the authorities.
