A high-value drug suspect was arrested and 25 grams of shabu worth 170,000 pesos were seized in a buy-bust operation in Dasmariñas City, Cavite, on March 4, 2024.
The suspect, known as “Waray”, was caught selling shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay Datu Esmael.
He is now facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The confiscated drugs will be examined by the Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit.
The operation was led by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of the Cavite Police Provincial Office and the Dasmariñas Component City Police Station.
The regional director of the Police Regional Office CALABARZON, PBGEN Paul Kenneth Lucas, praised the Cavite police for their achievement and urged the public to support the campaign against criminality in the province.
