A regional most wanted person was arrested in Silang Cavite on Monday, January 22, 2024, by the Cavite Provincial Intelligence Unit and the Warrant Section.
The suspect, known as “Allan”, was a resident of Barangay Lumil, Silang Cavite. He was wanted for three counts of statutory rape and lascivious conduct under Section 5 (B) of the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
He was captured in Barangay Narra 2, Phase 5, Silang Cavite, based on a warrant issued by the Tagaytay City Family Court Branch 3 with no bail for the rape charges and Php 200,000 bail for the lascivious conduct charge.
He is currently detained at the Silang Municipal Police Station for further processing.
The Cavite Police Provincial Office pledged to continue its efforts to track down and apprehend fugitives in the province.
