The “Ugnayan sa Barangay” program, a new initiative by the Provincial Government of Cavite, aims to strengthen the bond between the government and the people, and share the vision of a prosperous Cavite.

In launching the program, Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla, visited and interacted with the residents of three barangays in the City of Dasmariñas: Barangay Paliparan III, Barangay Salawag, and Barangay Burol Main, on January 8, 10, and 11, 2024, respectively.

During the visits, Governor Remulla presented the government’s comprehensive programs for 2024, covering key areas such as healthcare, education, infrastructure, and social services.

He also listened to the feedback and suggestions of the local residents, and answered their questions and concerns. The events also featured a raffle draw, which added fun and excitement, and boosted the community spirit.

Moreover, the government distributed rice to the local families, as a way of supporting their basic needs and expressing gratitude for their participation.

The program demonstrates the Provincial Government’s commitment to inclusive, transparent, and participatory governance, which aims to positively impact the growth and well-being of Cavite residents in the coming year.

The Ugnayan sa Barangay program is an exemplary model of how the government can actively involve and empower the local communities.
