General Trias expands public services, training facilities as city grows
GENERAL TRIAS, Cavite — General Trias, one of Cavite province’s main centers of industry, commerce and housing, is adding public safety, health care and job training facilities to keep up with its rapid growth.
New police and fire stations have been built in the villages of Biclatan and Sampalucan to improve law enforcement and emergency response. In Pasong Kawayan II, a Super Health Center has opened to widen residents’ access to basic health care.
A regional Technical-Vocational Education and Training building of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority is set to rise in San Francisco village. The facility will offer practical, industry-oriented training for the local workforce.
The city is also introducing electric vehicles as a cleaner, more efficient transportation option as urban activity increases.
The projects are meant to improve public services and create more opportunities for residents as the city’s population grows, according to the city government.
