Woman Nabbed in Dasmariñas Drug Bust; Shabu, Ecstasy Seized
DASMARIÑAS CITY, Cavite — Anti-drug agents and police arrested a woman listed as a high-value drug suspect in a buy-bust operation in this city last Thursday, seizing methamphetamine and ecstasy tablets with a combined estimated value of more than P464,000.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office 4A identified the suspect only by her alias, Nia, an adult resident of Barangay Sta. Lucia, where the operation was conducted at around 4:23 p.m. on May 8, 2026.
The operation was led by the PDEA Regional Office 4A Special Enforcement Team 1 in coordination with PDEA RO 4A Regional Special Enforcement Team 2 and the PNP Cavite Maritime Police Station.
Agents recovered approximately 35 grams of suspected shabu valued at P238,000 and 133 ecstasy tablets worth an estimated P226,100. Authorities also seized an Android mobile phone and the buy-bust money used in the operation.
PDEA said the suspect was on the high-value individual list of law enforcement authorities.
The suspect faces charges under Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. — PDEA Regional Office 4A
