PGC and Alitaptap Artists Collaborate in Painting for Art Month Celebration

The Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) and the Alitaptap Artists Community Inc. celebrated National Arts Month together on February 26, 2024, at the Provincial Capitol Building in Trece Martires City. The PGC Sabayang Pahid event showed the province’s devotion to nurturing the arts and supporting local talent.

Members of the Alitaptap Artists Community, Inc. led a painting activity that PGC employees joined eagerly. This activity allowed people from different walks of life to express their creativity and join the colorful mosaic of artistic expression.

Ms. Cristina Tamayo-Ancanan, the Board of Directors of Alitaptap Artists Community Inc., thanked the Provincial Government of Cavite and the Office of the Provincial Tourism Officer for their unwavering support in leading the Art Month Celebration.

She praised the cooperative efforts between the government and local organizations, saying, “One of our missions is to spread and showcase the arts in Cavite, which matches perfectly with the mission of Alitaptap. The Provincial Government always helps and supports us, not only with funding but also with coordinating with local agencies.”

This collaboration highlighted the commitment of the Provincial Government of Cavite to promoting arts and culture within the province.
