The city government of Bacoor, in partnership with the Liga ng Barangay, on Saturday held a “Luksang Parangal” to honor the late Councilor Leandro “Boy” De Leon, a longtime public servant who died recently.

The tribute was held at Atienza Funeral Home in Barangay Ligas 1 and attended by Mayor Strike B. Revilla, Rep. Lani Mercado Revilla, members of the city council, Liga ng Barangay President BM Rafael Paterno III, Atty. Venus De Castro of the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs, as well as De Leon’s family, relatives and residents.

De Leon served Bacoor for two decades — 11 years as barangay captain of Molino 2 and nine years as a city councilor.

Known for his compassion and dedication, he was regarded as both a trusted leader and a friend to many in the community.

City officials described his death as a great loss, saying his legacy of service and kindness would continue to inspire. They extended their condolences to his family and expressed gratitude for his years of public service.
