Woman in critical condition after being shot by partner in Bacoor, Cavite

BACOOR, Cavite — A 37-year-old woman was in critical condition after her live-in partner allegedly shot her in the abdomen following an argument at their home in Barangay Panapaan 3, police said.

The suspect, identified only as “Michael,” 45, is an employee of the Bacoor Traffic Management Department. The victim was identified only as “Normita.”

Investigators said neighbors heard a gunshot before the suspect fled on a motorcycle.

The woman was rushed to a hospital. Police are searching for the suspect, who faces charges.
