Armed Gang Hits Motorcycle Shop, Steals ATM Kiosks From 3 Cavite Towns in One Night

Armed men robbed a motorcycle shop and stole automated teller kiosks from two convenience stores across three towns in Cavite province on March 2, 2026, in what authorities believe may be the work of a single criminal group.

The incidents — in Bacoor City, Naic and Tanza — unfolded within hours of each other, beginning Sunday evening and stretching into early Monday morning.

Bacoor City

At about 7:20 p.m., three motorcycles pulled up in front of Secret Garage Motoshop in Barangay Talaba 3, Bacoor City. Armed backriders dismounted and, at gunpoint, stripped a 30-year-old man identified only as “Cesar” of his necklace and bracelet, valued at roughly P145,000 pesos, according to the Bacoor Component City Police Station.

The suspects fled toward the Cavitex expressway immediately after the robbery.

Naic

About seven hours later, at around 2:20 a.m., three men in hats and jackets arrived at a Dali store in Barangay San Roque, Naic, aboard a red Toyota Innova with plate number NCG 5965.

Closed-circuit television footage showed the suspects forcibly pulling out an E-Tap kiosk machine and loading it into their vehicle before driving toward Indang, Cavite, the Naic Municipal Police Station said.

Tanza

By 4:30 a.m., three unidentified men — in what police believe was the same red Toyota Innova bearing plate NCG 5965 — hit a second Dali store in Barangay Daang Amaya 3, Tanza. They first removed a wrap machine, then ripped out and took another E-Tap kiosk. The amount of cash inside the stolen unit has not yet been determined, according to the Tanza Municipal Police Station.

Investigators are looking into whether the three incidents are connected, citing the identical vehicle description, license plate and method of operation used in the Naic and Tanza heists.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing as they work to identify and apprehend those responsible.
