IMUS CITY, Cavite – The Cavite Police Provincial Office conducted a one-day seminar on Civil Disturbance Management Operations (CDMOs) and Awareness of Bombs that Kill Lives and Destroy Properties (A.B.K.D.) on April 22, 2025 at Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia.

The training, organized by the PARMU-Human Resource and Doctrine Development Section, aimed to bolster preparedness for the upcoming 2025 National and Local Elections and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Parliamentary Election.

Capt. Dennis A. Labrador led a lecture and practical demonstration on CDMOs, covering crowd control techniques, formations, and protocols for managing mass mobilizations. He emphasized discipline, coordination, and the proper use of protective equipment to ensure both public safety and respect for human rights.

Following the CDMO session, Lt. Rommel D. De Monteverde, along with the Provincial Explosive and Canine Unit (PECU) Cavite, delivered a lecture on A.B.K.D., which tackled explosive threats, identifying suspicious items, preventive measures, and appropriate responses to bomb incidents.

The seminar aimed to enhance officers’ knowledge and operational readiness in handling public safety threats and critical situations. It is part of the Philippine National Police’s ongoing efforts to equip its personnel with the skills and mindset necessary to respond to evolving security challenges.
