3 Suspects Arrested in Kawit Anti-Drug Operation

KAWIT, Cavite — Three suspects were arrested in an anti-drug operation in Kawit, Cavite, on Monday night, police said.

The suspects, identified only by their aliases “Abo”, “John”, and “Gie”, were taken into custody at around 11:55 p.m. in Barangay Tabon I, Kawit, after they allegedly sold a small plastic sachet containing suspected shabu to an undercover operative.

The operation was conducted by the Kawit Municipal Police Station’s Drugs Enforcement Unit and Intel Operatives, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 4A.

The suspects were informed of their constitutional rights and were brought to the Kawit Municipal Police Station for documentation and further investigation.

The police chief, PLTCOL Richard D. Corpuz, vowed to continue the station’s efforts to combat all forms of criminality, particularly the illegal drug trade. The operation was part of the station’s intensified campaign against crime and its commitment to keep the community safe.

No further details were provided about the suspects or the charges they face.
