In a significant blow to the local drug trade, Kawit Municipal Police Station, in their ongoing campaign against criminality, have apprehended a suspected drug dealer known as “Kenneth”. The arrest is part of a broader initiative to prevent and eradicate crime within the community.

The arrest took place on the evening of 15 April 2024, around 8:45 PM, during a coordinated anti-drug operation in Brgy. Toclong, Kawit, Cavite.

The operation was led by the Drugs Enforcement Unit/Intel Operatives of the Kawit Municipal Police Station, under the direct supervision of PLTCOL Richard D Corpuz, COP, and in coordination with the PDEA-4A.

“Kenneth”, a resident of Brgy Toclong, was arrested after he was found selling a small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a substance believed to be Marijuana. Following his arrest, “Kenneth” was informed of his constitutional rights under the Miranda Doctrine in a language he understood.

He was then taken to Kawit Municipal Police Station for documentation and further processing.
