In a significant crackdown on drug-related offenses, Kawit Municipal Police Station has reported the apprehension of an individual for contravening drug laws. The operation, part of a broader initiative to combat criminal activities, took place on the evening of April 12, 2024.

Under the supervision of PLTCOL Richard D Corpuz, the Drugs Enforcement Unit conducted a coordinated buy-bust operation with PDEA-4A in Brgy. Toclong, Kawit, Cavite. The sting operation led to the arrest of a suspect, known by the alias “Negro,” from Brgy Marulas, after he was caught selling a sachet of what is believed to be “Shabu.”

Following the arrest, the suspect was informed of his rights under the Miranda Doctrine in a language he understood. He was then taken to the local police station for further processing.

The Kawit Municipal Police Station has reaffirmed its commitment to relentless efforts against all forms of criminality, emphasizing this arrest as a clear deterrent message against the involvement in illegal drug activities.
