More than 250 college students and 150 individuals in the town of Maragondon received financial assistance from the local government and Agimat partylist recently.
LGU Maragondon, Cavite, led by Mayor Lawrence Arca and Vice Mayor Bernie Ilagan, expressed their gratitude to the office of Agimat Partylist Representative Bryan Revilla for the assistance they provided to their constituents.
The beneficiaries received cash grants ranging from 2,000 to 5,000 pesos, depending on their needs and qualifications. The financial aid was part of the Agimat partylist’s program to support education and livelihood in the province of Cavite.
According to Mayor Arca, the assistance was timely and helpful, especially amid the pandemic and the economic crisis. He also thanked Representative Revilla for his continuous support and partnership with the LGU Maragondon.
Representative Revilla, meanwhile, said that he was happy to serve the people of Maragondon and Cavite. He also encouraged the students to study hard and pursue their dreams.
He added that he will continue to work with the local government to implement more projects and programs for the welfare of the people.
