KAWIT, Cavite – Police arrested three men and seized over 102,000 pesos worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Sebastian, Kawit on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

The suspects were identified by their aliases as Amin and Enzo, both from Taguig City, and Ian, from General Trias City, Cavite.

According to PCOL Eleuterio Ricardo Jr, the provincial police director, the suspects were caught selling shabu to an undercover police officer who posed as a buyer.

The police recovered about 15.1 grams of suspected shabu with a street value of 102,680 pesos, along with the marked money and other drug paraphernalia.

The suspects are now detained at the Kawit Municipal Police Station, where they will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PBGEN Paul Kenneth Lucas, the regional police director, praised the Cavite police for their successful operation and urged the public to support the anti-drug campaign of the Philippine National Police.

“Let us work together and continue our intensified campaign against criminality in our province,” PCOL Ricardo said.
