Imus City Inaugurates 48 LED Streetlights from DILG Fund

The City Government of Imus, led by Mayor Alex “AA” L. Advincula, unveiled 48 LED streetlights on the road between Ospital ng Imus (ONI) and Imus Police Station in Barangay Malagasang I-G on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

The streetlights were funded by the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Incentive Fund, which the city received from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) for meeting its standards in 10 performance areas.

Mayor Advincula and DILG Regional Director Engr. Ariel O. Iglesia also signed a ceremonial document to mark the completion of the project.

Among the witnesses were DILG Provincial Director Engr. Danilo A. Nobleza, DILG officials, ONI Chief of Hospital Dr. Gabriel Gabriel, Imus Police Chief Officer PLTCOL Jack Angog, city administrators, and Barangay Captain Mark Oliver Valerio.
