MPCALA Holdings Inc., the concessionaire of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), announced that it will begin collecting toll fees at the Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange starting Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024.

The toll fees, as approved by the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB), cover pathways from Silang (Aguinaldo) as the entry point to five exit points: Silang East, Santa Rosa-Tagaytay, Laguna Boulevard, Laguna Technopark, and Greenfield.

According to MPCALA, the toll rates for Class 1 vehicles (cars, jeepneys, vans) are as follows:

  • Silang (Aguinaldo) to Silang East: P47
  • Silang (Aguinaldo) to Santa Rosa-Tagaytay: P64
  • Silang (Aguinaldo) to Laguna Boulevard: P75
  • Silang (Aguinaldo) to Laguna Technopark: P86
  • Silang (Aguinaldo) to Greenfield: P97

For Class 2 vehicles (buses, trucks), the toll rates are double the Class 1 rates, while for Class 3 vehicles (large trucks, trailers), the toll rates are triple the Class 1 rates.

MPCALA said that the toll collection is part of the full operation of the 10.7-kilometer segment of CALAX from Silang (Aguinaldo) to Santa Rosa-Tagaytay, which was opened to the public in December 2020.

The company added that the toll collection will help fund the maintenance and operation of the expressway, as well as the completion of the remaining segments of CALAX, which will span 45 kilometers from Kawit, Cavite to Mamplasan, Laguna.

MPCALA is a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC), the toll road arm of Metro Pacific Investments Corp. (MPIC).
