Bacoor City, Cavite – On February 14, 2024, a special celebration called Kasalang Bayan (Mass Wedding) will take place.

This is a unique occasion that is held every Valentine’s Day, where the first 100 couples will have the opportunity to get married on the same day.

The Kasalang Bayan is an annual project of the City Government of Bacoor, led by Mayor Strike B. Revilla.

Kasalang Bayan is a way of providing happiness and opportunity to couples who want to legalize their union, especially those who are already living together but are unable to hold a ceremony, among others.

The City Government of Bacoor will provide the venue, cake, and officiating mayor for the mass wedding.

To apply, the process is very easy. You just need to go to the LCR Office located at the Ground Floor of the Bacoor Government Center. Here, your applications will be accepted. The project of the City Government of Bacoor aims to give joy and opportunity to couples who want to be together on a special day.

But before you go, please bring the following requirements:

  • CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Baptismal Certificate
  • Barangay Clearance (Both or one of the couple must be a resident of Bacoor)
  • Valid ID
  • 2×2 Picture

The Kasalang Bayan follows the principle of “First Come, First Serve.” This means that the first 100 pairs who apply will get a slot.

Do not hesitate to register at the LCR Office now! Prepare for the most beautiful day of your life as a married couple, LGU Bacoor said in an FB post.
