Cavite Police Mourns Death of CvSU Dean

The Cavite Police Provincial Office (CPPO) has expressed its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Famela Iza C. Matic, the dean of the College of Criminal Justice of Cavite State University (CvSU).

In a Facebook post on Monday, the CPPO said that it joins the community in mourning the loss of Dr. Matic, who passed away on Monday.

“Dr. Matic was a respected and admired leader in the field of criminal justice education. She was instrumental in producing competent and ethical graduates who are now serving in various law enforcement agencies, including the CPPO,” the post read.

CPPO also praised Dr. Matic for her integrity and inspiration, saying that she led a life of service and excellence.

“Dr. Matic was a true partner of CPPO in promoting peace and order in the province. She was always supportive of our programs and initiatives, especially in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our personnel,” the post added.

CPPO said that it extends its sincere condolences to the CvSU community, especially to the College of Criminal Justice, where Dr. Matic served as dean.

“Dr. Matic will be greatly missed by all of us who had the privilege of working with her. We pray that she may rest in God’s peace,” the post concluded.
