A three-day hearing on the proposed 2025 Local Expenditure Program has concluded in Cavite, with all proposals unanimously approved by the Provincial Government.

The hearing, which took place from October 9 to 14, 2024, was chaired by Board Member Aidel Paul Belamide, who heads the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committee on Finance, Budget, and Appropriations.

Vice Governor Shernan Jaro presided over the hearing, with Majority Floor Leader Board Member Maurito Sison delivering the opening remarks.

The first day of the hearing focused on social service offices, while the second day highlighted the economic sector departments’ plans for sustainable development and economic growth.

The final day concluded with presentations from general public service offices, outlining their initiatives to improve service delivery across the province.

Each department presented its accomplishments from January to September and outlined its plans and programs for the calendar year 2025.

Governor Athena Bryana Tolentino attended the final day of the hearing to show her support for the province’s continued progress.

The approval of the proposals signals the province’s commitment to effectively allocating resources for the coming year and ensuring the continued development of programs aimed at enhancing social services, fostering economic growth, and improving public services.
