IMUS, Cavite — Starbucks has opened a new branch at Riverpark Gateway, bringing its total number of stores in Cavite province to 26.
The store is the fourth in Imus, joining outlets at The District Imus, Vermosa and Anabu. The additions underscore the city’s standing as a commercial center of Cavite, a fast-urbanizing province south of Manila.
Riverpark Gateway is the central lifestyle hub of the 600-hectare Riverpark township. The developer describes it as the township’s main retail, dining and social destination, combining shops, restaurants and leisure spaces for residents and visitors.
The mixed-use district is designed to blend urban convenience with green spaces and has strong regional road connectivity, according to the announcement. A Japanese-inspired condominium is also planned within the development.
Starbucks, the U.S.-based coffee chain, has expanded steadily in the Philippines, where Cavite’s growing population has drawn a wave of retail and residential projects in recent years.
