MANILA — Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices will increase by a total of P18 per kilo in three staggered adjustments this October 2026, according to a price advisory.
The first adjustment takes effect October 3 with a P10-per-kilo increase, followed by P5 per kilo on October 10 and P3 per kilo on October 17.
For a standard 11-kilogram LPG tank, the cumulative increase will reach P198 once all three adjustments are completed.
Consumers were reminded that the P198 total reflects the combined impact of the three price hikes and does not represent a one-time increase on October 3.
The successive adjustments are expected to affect households and businesses reliant on LPG for cooking and other needs.
