GENERAL TRIAS CITY OPENS NEW UNITY PARK AND CIVIC CENTER AS LATEST GREEN URBAN DEVELOPMENT

GENERAL TRIAS CITY, Cavite — Residents of General Trias City now have a new public space for recreation, community activities and civic events with the opening of the General Trias City Unity Park and Civic Center, a new urban development located at the junction of Kaunlaran Street and F. Manalo Road.

The facility combines a modern civic center with a landscaped public park, providing residents with a free and accessible venue for gatherings, leisure and community activities.

The development includes a Modern Civic Center, designed to accommodate events, conferences, social gatherings and other civic functions. The facility also recently hosted the city’s 2026 State of the City Address (SOCA).

Adjacent to the civic facilities is a Family and Kids Area Park, featuring open grassy lawns and a tree-lined landscape intended to provide residents with space for relaxation, recreation and leisure.

The park is designed to offer families and residents an alternative public destination where they can spend time outdoors without having to travel far from the city center.

City officials have described the Unity Park and Civic Center as another major addition to General Trias’ continuing urban development, with the project becoming the city’s fourth major green urban development.

The combination of civic facilities and open green space reflects the growing emphasis on creating public areas that can serve both government and community needs.

Beyond hosting official functions, the civic center can provide a venue for conferences, community meetings and social events, while the surrounding landscaped areas give residents a place for informal gatherings and outdoor recreation.

Located along Kaunlaran Street and F. Manalo Road, the new development also adds another public green space to General Trias as the city continues to expand and urbanize.

For residents, the Unity Park and Civic Center is envisioned not simply as a government facility but as a community space — a place to gather, relax, celebrate and participate in civic life.

With its combination of modern public infrastructure and landscaped open areas, the development is positioned as another landmark in General Trias City’s efforts to provide residents with accessible public spaces amid rapid urban growth.
