BALITE FALLS IN AMADEO REOPENS AFTER CLEANUP DRIVE
AMADEO, Cavite — Balite Falls reopened to the public Thursday after a cleanup drive aimed at restoring and maintaining cleanliness at one of the town’s primary natural attractions, officials said.
The management of Balite Falls thanked the local government of Amadeo, led by Mayor Jojo Domingo Jr., along with Iyong’s Resort and volunteers who participated in the cleanup effort.
Officials said the collaboration among the local government, private sector, and community residents was essential to keeping the destination clean and well-maintained for tourists and local visitors alike.
Alongside the reopening, authorities reminded visitors to observe posted guidelines and practice responsible tourism to preserve the cleanliness, safety, and appeal of the site.
Balite Falls is expected to resume its role as a hub for eco-tourism activities in Amadeo as the local government continues its push to protect the town’s natural resources.
