Ternate Rower Wins Gold at Thailand Competition

TERNATE ROWER WINS GOLD AT 2026 BEACH SPRINT COMPETITION IN THAILAND

TERNATE, Cavite — A rower from Ternate, Cavite claimed the gold medal in the under-16 coastal men’s solo event at the 2026 Rowing Beach Sprint Competition in Pattaya, Thailand, officials said.

Emmanuel Pilar won the gold medal, the first for Ternate in the competition, in the U16 Coastal Men’s Solo category.

Two other Ternate athletes, Ayonna Huerto and Matt Jugadora, were also competing in the event at the time of the report.
