Gun Attack in Bacoor Leaves Walking Man Dead

MAN SLAIN IN CAVITE GUN ATTACK

BACOOR CITY, Cavite — A man was fatally shot by unidentified suspects while walking along Mambog Road in Barangay Mambog 4 on Saturday evening.

The Bacoor Component City Police Station reported the incident occurred at approximately 7:45 p.m.

Preliminary investigations indicate the victim was walking toward Molino Boulevard when the suspects approached and shot him multiple times with an unidentified caliber of firearm.

The victim died at the scene.

The assailants fled immediately and were not seen in the area afterward.

Police have identified persons of interest alias “Val,” alias “Tisay,” and an unidentified male referred to as “John Doe.” Authorities have launched a hot pursuit operation to locate and arrest the suspects.

Police secured the crime scene to preserve evidence and requested Scene of the Crime Operatives to conduct a technical investigation.

Investigators are interviewing potential witnesses and gathering CCTV footage from the area.

The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
