Anti-narcotics agents seized methamphetamine (known as shabu) worth an estimated P68 million pesos and arrested three suspects in a sting operation Monday night.
Agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) conducted the buy-bust at Heritage Tree Nature Park in Barangay Molino IV, according to PDEA chief Isagani Nerez.
The suspects, identified only as Mohammad, Michael and Marie, sold 750 grams of methamphetamine, commonly known as shabu, to an undercover officer, Nerez said.
A search of the suspects yielded an additional 9.3 kilograms of the drug.
Authorities also confiscated a Nissan Terra, a Toyota Avanza and mobile phones from the suspects.
The PDEA said charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed.
