GENERAL TRIAS, Cavite — Four armed men held up a street vendor while he was cashing in at an E-Tap machine inside a convenience store in Barangay Biclatan early Saturday, police said.
The victim, identified only as “Rey,” 38, lost his cellphone, wallet containing cash, and motorcycle, investigators said.
In his statement to police, Rey said the incident happened around 1 a.m. at a convenience store along C.M. Delos Reyes Avenue in Governor Hills.
He said the suspects, all carrying handguns of unknown caliber, approached and declared a holdup while he was about to complete a transaction.
The men fled with Rey’s Skygo Volt 150 motorcycle, black and silver in color, along with his belongings, according to authorities.
Police said follow-up operations are underway to identify and arrest the suspects.
