Bacoor Cracks Down on Illegal Parking to Ease City Traffic

BACOOR, Cavite — The Bacoor Traffic Management Department (BTMD) has launched a citywide crackdown on illegally parked vehicles in a bid to ease traffic congestion and ensure public road safety.

The operation, which began on May 15, is being conducted under City Ordinance No. 130-2020, which authorizes the clamping, towing, and impounding of vehicles parked illegally on public roads.

BTMD teams have been deployed to carry out clearing operations across key areas of the city, with roving units tasked to monitor and act on obstruction complaints. The department has also partnered with homeowners’ associations to address illegal parking inside private subdivisions.

Mayor Strike Revilla said the crackdown reflects the local government’s commitment to orderly and disciplined streets.

“This operation against illegal parking is a clear demonstration of our care and dedication to building a safer, more organized, and disciplined Bacoor,” Revilla said. “Your city government will continue to serve with integrity and compassion for every Bacooreno.”

BTMD said the anti-illegal parking campaign will remain ongoing as part of renewed traffic management and road safety measures.
