Bacoor City, Cavite – Three Nigerian nationals were arrested in separate buy-bust operations conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) on the night of Feb. 28, 2025.
Two of the suspects, identified by their aliases “Ik” and “Stanley,” were apprehended in front of a pharmacy in Barangay Molino III.
Authorities seized 800 ecstasy tablets worth PHP1,360,000, 50 grams of shabu valued at PHP340,000, and marked buy-bust money.
The third suspect, known by the alias “Kenneth,” was arrested in a residence on Magdiwang Road, Barangay Molino II.
Confiscated from him were 4,753 ecstasy tablets worth PHP9,635,100, 230 grams of shabu valued at PHP1,565,000, and several plastic bags containing suspected ecstasy powder.
Authorities consider the three suspects high-value individuals. They will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
