ROSARIO, Cavite – A massive 10-foot python was caught early morning in Barangay Bagbag-1, Rosario, Cavite.

According to reports, the snake was found slithering near a house when it was caught by a resident on September 8, 2024.

Residents blamed the snake’s appearance on the flooding caused by Typhoon Enteng, which disturbed the reptile’s habitat.

The python has been turned over to Barangay Captain Willy Cuello of Barangay Bagbag-1, and its mouth has been secured before being placed in a sack.

The barangay is expected to turn over the snake to the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) on Monday.
